Registration Schedule
Saturday 7:00 – 9:00am – Registration, Check-in and Launch. Feel free to set up boat on Friday afternoon between 2p.m. – 6 p.m. Boats must be launched then.
Saturday 9:45am – A competitor's briefing will take place at regatta headquarters.
Race Schedule
Five races are scheduled the warning signal for the first race will be at 10:30am on Saturday, June 10. Except when races are sailed back-to-back, the approximate time of warning signals for subsequent races will be posted. One race constitutes a regatta. No warning signal will be made after Noon, Sunday June 11 if at least one race has been completed. In any case, no warning signal shall be made after 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 11.
Social Schedule
Lunches will be available daily at headquarters.
Friday 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 pm – Early registration Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres
Saturday Evening – Celebrate 70 years of sailing on Long Lake at the Kercher residence with food, free beer and merriment.
Two tickets for lunches and party are included with registration.
Additional Details
Fees
The entry fee is $60 per boat. This includes lunches and party for two. Additional meals can be purchased at registration. Entry is free to youth-aged skippers (age 25 and under as of January 1, 2017). Those who take advantage of this must be members of the NCSSA.
Trophies
Trophies will be awarded to the skipper and crew of the top five finishing boats.
Rules: For the purpose of RRS41, the crew of a capsized boat or a crew member overboard should be considered “in danger” and thus eligible to continue racing after being helped or righted.
Housing
Attempt to house distant sailors will be made with advanced request.
Launching and Mooring: Available at Regatta Headquarters during registration hours. Competitor trailer storage will be available off site. Instructions available at registration. Car parking is at a premium. Please limit the number of vehicles.
Mooring
Bring your own anchor, buoy and line (20 feet). Boats will be moored. All moorings must be removed on Sunday, June 11.
Spectator Fleet
Limited spectator boats will be available from regatta headquarters.
